New for 2010 this 24 page booklet includes an A4 map of the Peak District, contact details for all our visitor and cycle hire centres and guidance on the wide range of things you can do to get active in the Peak District including walking, cycling. rock climbing, horse riding, fell running, air sports, water sports, fishing & caving.
A printed copy of the guide is available at selected Tourist Information Centres and libraries outside of the National Park.
Access for All
Section on the website with information and maps for 40 places throughout the National Park which are easily accessible to wheelchairs, pushchairs and people seeking a more leisurely walk.
Alsos includes the locations of nearby car parks and toilets.

High Peak and Tissington Trails leaflet (770KB) ![]()
The High Peak Trail is a 14 mile linear route along the old Cromford to Buxton railway line. Hire a bike from Middleton Top or Parsley Hay cycle hire centre.
The High Peak trail runs from Ashbourne to just beyond Hardlow and links to the Tissington Trail just south of Parsley Hay. Hire a bike from Pasley Hay or Ashbourne cycle hire centre
Monsal Trail and Tunnels leaflet (568KB)
The Monsal Trail was fully reopened in 2011 and runs along the former Midland Railway line for 8.5 miles between Blackwell Mill, in Chee Dale and Coombs Road, at Bakewell. For more details see our web pages on the Monsal Trail and Tunnels.
