Peak District National Park Authority planning information
Several types of planning application can be determined by National Park officers under delegated powers.
The Authority’s standing orders however allow for members of the Authority to request that applications which would otherwise fall under delegated powers for a decision to be determined by the Planning Committee. However there must be clear planning reasons for this and it must be agreed in writing with the Head of Planning who consults the Chair of the Planning Committee in the making of the decision.
