This page will give updates on the progress of the application.

Full details of the application can be viewed on our planning search facility http://pam.peakdistrict.gov.uk/?r=NP/DDD/1210/1298.

Background & Decision Making

An outline planning application showing a masterplan for the site was originally submitted in 2004 (NP/DDD/1104/1221). The application was taken to committee on several occasions and was deferred on each occasion to allow submission of further information. It was eventually refused by the planning committee on 12 February 2010 (see full committee report and minutes ). There is an active appeal lodged with the Planning Inspectorate by the applicants against this decision.

The current application, again in outline, seeks to address the reasons for refusal of the original application, and has been through its statutory public consultation process.

The current application is likely to be considered by our planning committee on 13 May 2011.

Members of the public will be able to attend the planning committee, and information about speaking at planning meetings can be found here.
