Peak District National Park Authority planning information
This planning application is a significant proposal affecting Bradwell village and, indeed, the wider national park area. This page will give updates on the progress of the application.
Last updated 23 November 2010
Full details of the application can be viewed on our planning search facility (reference NP/DDD/1208/1089).
The planning application was originally submitted on 12 December 2008 following two public meetings and an exhibition. Following the initial public consultation, the applicants submitted revised plans. A public meeting about the proposals was held on 6 February 2009 and the main planning issues raised at this meeting are available to read.
Planning officers have asked the company to answer various technical questions raised during the public consultation process and are currently awaiting this response and further amended plans before a date can be set for the application to go to planning committee for a decision to be made.
As soon as the final amended plans and supporting technical information has been received a further round of public consultation will be held. In addition we also intend to hold a public drop-in session in the village to enable residents, and other interested parties, to find out more about the details of the application before it goes to our planning committee.
The application will ultimately be considered by our planning committee. Although a date for this cannot be set until we receive the amended plans and supporting information we have requested, we expect it to be in 2011. Once a date is known we will update the website with details of when and where the meeting will take place.
Members of the public will be able to attend the planning committee, and information about speaking at planning meetings can be found here.
