Peak District National Park Authority planning information
Many householder applications are straightforward and do not raise difficult planning issues. If you think your application will raise planning policy issues you may find it helpful to consult our policy documents below.
Peak District Design Guide - if your application involves new construction then the Authority's Design Guide has particular advice which you may find helpful.
East Midlands Regional Plan - strategic policies for the region (external link). Please note if your project in based within the Peak District, it will be subject to the policies within East Midlands Regional Plan even if the property is not normally within the East Midlands region. This applies particularly to properties in South Yorkshire, Cheshire and Staffordshire.
